ANTHONY, Jessie Marion (Retired from Alexander Awnings after 20 years of service. Many will remember Jessie from her 30 years of volunteer service as Canteen Chairman of the T.A.A.A.) Jessie died peacefully at The Loyalist Retirement Residence on Saturday, February 3, 2018. Jessie (Bragg) of Thorold South in her 88th year. Wife of the late Moses Anthony (1989) and dear friend and companion of the late John “Ozzy” Osborne. Dear mother of Glenn (Anna), Denise Anthony, Guy (Tracy) and Kimberly Anthony. Loving Nanny of Kristyn, Joshua, Blair, Briar, Jesse, Lucas, Logan, Jacob, Brooke Lynn and great grandmother to eight great grandchildren. Sister of Myrtle (Larry Badley) and the late Berkley, Lindsay, George, Donald and Ina. Aunt Jessie will also be missed by several nieces and nephews in Ontario and Newfoundland. Friends will be received at the BOCCHINFUSO FUNERAL HOME, 2 Regent Street, Thorold, from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Tuesday and 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Wednesday. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. followed by interment at Lakeview Cemetery. At Jessie’s request, memorial donations to the T.A.A.A. or the Thorold Figure Skating Club, would be appreciated by the family, as the children meant the world to her.
