Jeannette Maria Assi (Kleine Deters)
ASSI, Jeannette Maria – Passed away peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket, on Tuesday, December 25, 2018 two weeks before her 64th birthday. Loving wife of Manmohan Singh Assi for 40 years, Beloved mother of Jennifer Robbins, Ravinder (Sharon), Jas Paul (Cori-Lynn), Baldev (Jeff) and Sonia Bilmes (Clay). Proud Grandmother of Kate-Lynn and Hannah Robbins, Owen, Savannah and Keenan Assi. Sister to Josie Mckissok (predeceased), Henriette Itterman (Nick), Gerry KleineDeters (Joanne), Daughter of Joop (survived) and Ans (predeceased) KleineDeters.
Jeannette loved her family and devoted her life to her husband, children, and grandchildren. She also loved her dog Roxy. She spent many years working in the family business and later at the Superstore in Newmarket until 2015.
The family would like to thank the staff at Southlake Regional Health Centre, CVICU and 5th Floor Cardiac Care for all their help and support.
Friends & Family may call at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main Street South, Newmarket on Saturday January 5, 2019 for visitation from 3:00 – 5:00 pm. A Funeral service will follow at 5:00 pm in the chapel. If desired memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
