Obituary of Jean McCann (nee Dunbar)
Passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018 after a wonderful day of visits from family and friends. Always proud of being a Dunbar from the Queens Line Jean was married for 68 years to Lester McCann until his death in Jan. 2017. She is predeceased by Lester, their daughter Jayne and infant son Michael. She leaves to mourn their children Linda (Bill Gilmour ), Peter, Eddie ( Dianne Martineau ) Paul, Craig and Tom ( Cheryl Stanley ) and her brother Thomas Dunbar ( Christine Clemens ). She was blessed with the love of twenty four grandchildren and twenty five great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Hayes Funeral Home, Quyon, Que on Sunday, June 17, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral in St. Mary’s Church, Quyon on Monday, June 18 at 11:00 am. Interment to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. The family would like to thank Dr. Croteau and all the care givers at the Pontiac Community Hospital for their attention to our moms well being. In lieu of flowers donations to the Pontiac Community Hospital Foundation Palliative Care Unit, St. Mary’s Cemetery Fund or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
