On Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital in her 93rd year. Jean passed away peacefully, bringing to an end a long and happy life filled with love. She loved the hundreds of children she taught as a kindergarten teacher. She loved her family. Intensely proud of her four sons, their families and her husband Jack; she was also especially attached to her cousins and the rest of her extended family. Jean was the beloved wife of Jack Churchill (deceased). Loved mother of John and his wife Sandy of Blackstock, Jim and his wife Debbie of Newmarket, Jeffrey (deceased) and his wife Reesie of Baffin Island and Jay and his wife Linda of Waterloo. Loving grandmother of Graham, Taylor, Alex, Sarah, Lisa, Anna, Evan, Katheryn, Callie, Laura, and Sam and great grandmother of Kyle, Sophia, and Anna.
A private service will be held at Boston Mills Cemetery, Caledon, ON.
A Service to celebrate her life will be held at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Saturday May 26th at 3:30 p.m. followed by a reception at The Piano Café, 217 Queen Street, Port Perry.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to The Hospital for Sick Children Foundation. Memories, photos, and condolences may be shared at www.waggfuneralhome.com.
