It is with heavy hearts that the family of Jean Hildreth Webb
announce her passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday,
August 8, 2018. Born on September 7, 1926, in Pleasant Villa, NB, Jean
was the daughter of the late Albert and Gladys (Dickson)
Williams.
Jean is survived by her daughter Shirley Webb of Smithtown, NB; sons:
Reg Webb and his wife Mary of Lakeside, NB, and Don Webb (Liz Currie)
of Norton, NB; son-in-law Joe Boyle (Moria O’Shea) of
Hillsdale, NB; grandchildren: Nathan Boyle (Jody), Jill Legere (Adam),
Mike Webb (Krista), Jason Webb (Devon), Tracey Fullerton (Tony), Paul
Webb (Rebecca Manuel), Jeff Webb (LeDawn), Kelly Colbourne (Marcus);
great grandchildren: Savana, Dakota, Isaie, Jean-Luc, Isabelle,
Nicholas, Olive, Clarke, Jack, Claire, Kennedy, Dawson, Ryleigh,
Paisley and Sadi; sisters: Betty Lacey, Ruth Ferguson and Norah
Heater; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents,
Jean was predeceased by her loving husband Earl Webb; daughter Eleanor
Boyle; daughter-in-law Karla Webb; and brothers: George and Arthur
Williams.
Jean belonged to the Saint Paul’s Anglican Church ACW and
the Lakeside Women’s Institute.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home
(506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB. A celebration of
Jean’s life will be held on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at
11:00am from Reid’s Funeral Chapel. Interment will take
place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
Donations in memory of Jean may be made to the charity of the
donor’s choice. Personal condolences to the family and
