Jean Queenan passed away peacefully with family at her side at Kingsway Lodge, St. Marys, on October 18, 2018 at the age of 80.
Beloved husband of John, 57 years married. Loving Mother of John and Sherry of Ilderton and their children Matthew, Carson and Ryan; Jean Thompson and Barry of Smith Falls and their children Nicklaus and Jamieson; Anne Bissell of London and her children Ethan and Logan; and Kathleen Wouters of Calgary AB and her children Danielle (Dwayne) and their children Aubrey and Ashton, Robert (Megan), and Kaitlin Fritz (Marshall). Sister of Thomas McGoran and Moira. Sister-in-law of Anne Franz (Jo), Elizabeth Wood (John), Phyllis Queenan, Anthony Queenan. Missed by several nieces, nephews, cherished friends Fieke Rietmeyer, Percy and Margaret Smith and many other friends in the St. Marys community. Faithful member of Holy Name of Mary Parish, longtime member of the CWL. She enjoyed her time in the Stonetown Entertainers Choir.
Jean’s family would like to thank the staff of Kingsway Lodge and the St. Marys Memorial Hospital for their wonderful care.
Cremation to take place. Family and friends are invited to HOLY NAME OF MARY PARISH, Northeast corner of Widder St. E. and Peel St. N., St. Marys, on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 for visiting in the Parish Hall from 10 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in St. Marys Cemetery.
