Jean Littlefield
May 26, 1923 – December 15, 2018
JEAN WOOTTON LITTLEFIELD – Peacefully at Extendicare Maple View on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at the age of 95.
Loving wife of the late Harry Wootton and the late Joe Littlefield. Wonderful mom of Eileen, and her predeceased sons Richard Wootton and Stephen Wootton. Adored grama of Jennifer Donnelly (Claudio) and Daniel Plumpton (Lindsey). Cherished great grama of Devin Shell, Brooke Donnelly and Lauren Jacobs-Plumpton. Dear sister of George Collins (Gloria), Allen Collins (Solonge), Margaret Smith, Dale Oakes and the late Bruce Collins (Meem). Auntie Babs will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Jean will be fondly remembered by the Littlefield family, Terry, Gay Gartshore (Rick), Sherry Hoover (Ian), Betty Jo Fleming (John) and their children. Jean will also be sadly missed by Diane Ramsay (Sandy). Jean loved to sing and was a member of the Gordon Christie Singers. She was a dedicated member of St. Luke’s Cathedral, serving on the Altar Guild for many years. Jean will be remembered as a gracious lady who was always willing to help others. Many thanks for the loving care she received by the attentive staff at Maple View. Friends may visit at the Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E, 705-759-2522) on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 from 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm. Memorial service in the chapel at 2 pm. The very Rev. James McShane officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to St. Luke’s Cathedral or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
