Jean-Guy Carrière
At the Glengarry Memorial Hospital on Monday, July 9, 2018. Jean-Guy Carrière of Alexandria; age 80 years. Beloved husband of Rita Carrière (nee Quesnel). Predeceased by two brothers Lionel Carrière (Florence of Alexandria), and Denis Carrière (Jeannette of Alexandria), and by three sisters Jeannette Bourgon (late Henri), Isabelle Bourgon (late Gerard), and Alice Quesnel (late Raymond). Dear son of the late Fabien and Marie-Anne Carrière (nee Boyer). He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Thursday, July 12, 2018 from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm and on Friday from 9am -10am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Finnan’s Cathedral, Alexandria on Friday, July 13, 2018 at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in the Église Sacré-Coeur Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Jean-Guy a tree will be planted in a Memory Woods.
