Obituary for Jean Alberta Robidoux (Johnson)
Robidoux, Jean Alberta – Passed away March 1, 2018 at the Mira Nursing Home, Truro. Jean was born on September 27, 1935 in Truro to the late Cecil and Matilda Johnson. Jean is survived by her husband of 62 years, John; daughter, Rose (Dan) Facey of St. Thomas, ON; sons – John (Ann) Robidoux of Winnipeg, MAN, Stephen (Brenda) Robidoux of Elmsdale and David Robidoux of Hammonds Plains. Jean is also survived by grandson, Cory Robidoux of Wainright, AB; granddaughters – Theresa Hartford (Chais), Tara Hartford (Bruce), Lisa Facey and Kate Facey; great-grandchildren – Alysa Hartford, Owen Hartford, Aubrey Hartford, Alzan Hartford, Lochan Hartford, Danny Facey and Leah Facey all of St. Thomas, ON; sisters – Beverly (Nelson) MacKinnon, Francis (Norman) Crosby and Betty Carrigam all of Truro. She was predeceased by her parents, son, John; sisters – Susie Betts and Carol Redden. A private family service will be held. Interment will take place in Onslow Cemetery in Spring 2018. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jean’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Nova Scotia. The family wish to thank the Mira Nursing Home for the excellent care given to Jean the last two and a half years. Special thanks to Karen and Tracey. Completion of arrangements have been entrusted to Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro.
