Jane Elizabeth Cowan
It is with deep sadness that the family of Jane Cowan announce her death on August 15, 2018, at the age of 63 after a brief illness. She was dearly loved and will be forever cherished by her husband Brian, her children Leah (Brian), Patrick (Sarah), and Connor (Allaa), her sister Jill (Kurt), her niece and nephew Naomi (Alan) and Evan, and many friends.
Jane worked at the Windsor Es Children’s Aid Society for over 30 years where she united hundreds of families through foster care and adoption. She had a thirst for knowledge and was a constant teacher to the people in her life, especially her children. She had a way with words and was very funny. Jane loved animals and will be greatly missed by her dogs Brennah and Finn, and her cats Piper, Luna and Rhubarb. If you so desire, donations to the Windsor Es Humane Society or Transition to Betterness would be appreciated by the family.
