December 2, 1933 – December 10, 2018
Suddenly, the Lord took home our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather on Monday, December 10th, 2018. John Kempenaar, of Belleville, formerly of Prince Edward County, at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Ann. Dear father of Catharina VanderVliet (Ron) of Oakville, Peter (Linda) of Belleville, Michael of North Frontenac, Janet DeMille (Scott) of Bloomfield, Jacob (Anne) of Pickering, Elizabeth Muizelaar (Richard) of Mississauga and Edward (Haley) of Regina. Dear brother of Henny Huiskamp (Bill), Peter (Dini) (late Theda), Gary (Sandra) and the late Willem (late Lisa) and the late Paul (Wilma). Sadly missed by his 15 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Mr. Kempenaar is resting at
the Whattam Funeral Home, 33 Main Street,
Picton, ON.
A funeral service will be held in the Bethany Christian Reformed Church (Bloomfield) on Saturday, December 15th, 2018 at 2:30 pm.
Reverend Gregg Lawson to officiate. If desired, donations to Doctors Without Borders would be appreciated by the family.
Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 1 p.m. until the time of service.
