James Walter “Jim” Rideout
Peacefully, with his wife by his side on December 4, 2018 at 89 years of age. Beloved and devoted husband of 63 years to June (nee Smith). Loving father of Blair and Shelley Rideout. Survived by his grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Bert & Christina Rideout. Dear brother of the late Olive, and Don Rideout. Also survived by his nieces and nephews. Jim was the owner of Rideout Trucking and following his retirement he focused his attention on addiction counselling where he helped many, many people at the Renascent Centre in Toronto.
If you so desire, donations to the Iris House would be appreciated by the family.
