Peacefully, at Bruyere Continuing Care, Ottawa on Friday, December 29, 2017. Jim Hawkins of Osgoode at the age of 62. Beloved husband and best friend of Lorraine Eggens. Dear brother of Barry and Dale Hawkins. Son of the late Marion (nee McCallum) and Wilbert Hawkins. Jim will be fondly remembered by his colleagues at the City of Ottawa, Comrades at the Osgoode Royal Canadian Legion, and by his many friends & neighbours. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Daley Family Funeral Home, 6971 Bank St. (between Scrivens Dr. and Metcalfe corner) on Saturday January 13th from 10-11 am. Memorial Service to follow in the Chapel at 11 am. A reception will follow at the Osgoode Legion. Donations made to the Country Cat Sanctuary, Oxford Mills (www.countrycatrescue.ca), would be appreciated by the family.
