Obituary for James Jeffery
Jeffery, James Clifford, 79 of Overton passed away December 31, 2017 in the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Yarmouth he was the son of the late Frank and Lillian (Bain) Jeffery. James was a Loving husband, father and grandfather who loved his family dearly, a real family man. He was the owner and operator of the Little River Kennels and the world’s longest serving breeder of the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. James is survived by his wife Deanna (Coldwell) Jeffery, Daughters Justine( Jim)Rutherford, Baltimore Ontario; Jana Jeffery, Overton; sister Joy Marie Blackburn, Bedford; grandchildren Gage, Sarah and Deanna. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brothers Rick and Jack Jeffery. Cremation has taken place. A Family gathering in James’s memory will be held Sunday January 7, 2017 at 11 am from the Pembroke Hall. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth.
