Obituary for Jacqueline “Jackie” Roy (Ryan)
Jacqueline “Jackie” Ann Roy (née Ryan) of Kincardine, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Kincardine, on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 in her 89th year.
Beloved wife to the late Gerald “Gerry” Roy.
Cherished mother of Barbara (Hugh) Cahill of Kincardine, Nicole (Merle) Whitwell of Kincardine, Ronald Roy (Linda Jossul) of Gibson B.C., Guy (Cindy) Roy of Cannington, Roger Roy (Petra Muschalle) of Glammis.
Loving grandmother of Melissa, Hughie, Orenda, Jennifer, Sheena, Davin, Monique, Gerry, Marlee and great-grandmother of Samantha, Jason, Jessica, Audrey, Beckham, Mya, RJ Mclean, Landon & Chloe.
Missed by her sister Nonie Ryan of New Brunswick.
Predeceased by her parents John and Barbara Ryan, sisters Ella Cellini and Leah Morgan, brother Jim Ryan, brothers-in-law Shorty Cellini and Bob Morgan.
Also missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, on Thursday, December 21st, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with Vigil Prayers at 8:30 p.m.. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church on Friday, December 22nd, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Thomas Manninezhath as celebrant.
Final resting place, Kincardine Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Kincardine Hospital Foundation or Alzheimer Society Grey-Bruce would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
