WRIGHT, Jack Sr. – Passed away Peacefully on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in his 91st year. Beloved husband of the late Pauline (Babe). Loving father of Jack Jr. (Christine) and the late Diana Lee (Jeffrey) . Proud grandfather of Ira, Rochelle, Joel, Stephanie, Rachael and Sasha and great grandfather of Yemaya and Montana. Predeceased by his loving parents Barney and June, brother Morris (Lois) and survived by his brother in law John Hoyt (Janet). Jack was an active member of the Canadian Thoroughbred Horse Society and also a Canadian Thoroughbred Breeder/Owner for over 60 years. He will also be remembered for his coaching with the Hamilton Police Minor Hockey Association for more than 20 years. He had a lifelong career in the produce business (Wright Produce Company). The family will recieve friends at DODSWORTH & BROWN Funeral Home, ANCASTER CHAPEL 378 Wilson Street East, Ancaster 905-648-3852 on Friday from 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Saturday at 930am in the chapel. Interment to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
