Obituary for
Jack Church
John “Jack” Allan Church, of Walkerton passed away at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Walkerton on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at the age of 83.
Beloved husband of Betty (nee Waechter Doerr). Loving father of Tina Dill (Manny) and cherished grandfather of Krista (Steve) Dunbar, Michelle (Ted) Paff, John (Jocelyn) Stone and Jason (Kelly) Stone and great-grandfather of Owen, Jenna, Aubree, Jeffrey, Sophie and Blake. Jack will be missed by Betty’s children Cathy (Randy) Lemon, Sandy (Charlie) Porter, Patti (Denis) Grubb, Sharon (Glen) Kuntz, Mike (Sharon) Doerr and Greg (Holly) Doerr; grandchildren Stacey, Amanda, Jordan, Rebecca, Alex, Kurtis, Cody, Jayme, Jessica, Jarrett, Alyssa, Breana, Erica, Matthew and Kirsten and great-grandchildren Maddison, Grayson, Harper, Hudson and Kane. He will be remembered by his sisters-in-law Kay Church, Vera Church, Dorothy (Fred) Brindley and Betty Stroeder as well as the Waechter family.
Jack was predeceased by his first wife Helen (nee Frank) and brothers Bruce Church and Robert Church.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday at the Cameron Funeral Home, Walkerton from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. with parish prayers at 2:00 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at the Sacred Heart Church, Walkerton at 11:00 a.m. Fr. Les Szczygiel officiating.
Interment in Calvary Cemetery, Walkerton.
