Isabel Taylor (née McGillivray), was born at Woodside Cottage, Dalvey, Dyke Scotland in 1940, to John and Isabella McGillivray. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Alistair Taylor; her daughter, Sheila Taylor; her son, Mike Taylor (Michelle Pearson); her grand-daughter Samantha Hewlett (née Taylor) (Ryan Hewlett); and three great-grandchildren, Eli, Ireland, and Charlie. Isabel is also survived by her two sisters, Betty Duncan at Home Farm, Drumoak, and Zena Cormie in Elgin, Scotland. She will be missed by many family and friends. Isabel and Al made their new home in Calgary, AB in 1961. Her loves were flowers, gardening, keeping a clean house, knitting, and of course her family. Isabel collected crystals, china figurines, and decorative plates. She loved her Scottish music and hummed and tapped even during her time with dementia.
