It is with sadness that the family of Irene Jean McDonald age 92 of Amherst announce her passing on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Gables Lodge, Amherst.
Born in River Hebert, she was the daughter of the late John and Annie (Tate) McDonald.
Irene will be fondly remembered by nephew Merritt (Heather) Jewett; great nephews and nieces John, Jeffrey, Jaryd, Jillian, Trevor and Kristi; great great nephew Jacob and great great nieces Hayden and Hallie.
Besides her parents, Irene was predeceased by her sister Margaret (Hazen) Jewett and niece Valerie Jewett.
Following Irene’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service.
