It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Iona Mabel Collantes on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at the age of 63 years. She leaves behind to mourn her husband, Ike Collantes, her children Alison and Janielle (Andrew Hibbs) and her grandchildren Lea & Raelin, Enzo & Jaxson. Sadly missed by her brothers Shawn, Alvin and Boyd. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews – Melissa, Megan, Staci, Jennifer, Janis, Aaron, Terry, Jolyn, Kelly and Marcel – and by her many extended family members and friends. Predeceased by her parents Millicent & Cecil Park and by her sister Melvina Payne. Visitation will be held at the McEACHNIE FUNERAL HOME, 28 Old Kingston Rd., Ajax (905-4288488) on Thursday, August 16 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm and on Friday, August 17 from 11 am – 1:00 pm. A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel of the Funeral Home on Friday at 1:00 pm. The family wishes to express their gratitude to everyone for their support and prayers during this difficult time.
