In Loving Memory
It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Hubert Henry Laurette age 75 of Amherst on Wednesday December 26th, 2018 in the comfort of his own home.
Born in Amherst, Hubert was a son of the late George and Mildred Laurette (LeBlanc).
Hubert worked in car garages all of his life in Amherst. He was a gifted wood worker, creating pieces so beautiful beyond belief, it was a God given talent.
Hubert is home with God and all of his family at peace and happy.
He will lovingly remembered by his sister, Vivian of Pictou NS as well as several nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his brothers, Bob and his wife Dolly, Raymond and his wife Patricia, Lennard, and Ralph, sisters, Dorothy
Terry, Zena and her husband Dock as well as brother in law, Peter.
Following Hubert’s wishes, cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Campbell’s Funeral Home, Amherst (902) 667-9906, where there will be no visitation or service.
A private interment will take place in the spring at St. Charles Nativity Cemetery.
Memorial donations can be made to the Amherst Food Assistance Network.
