Brown, Hildred Elizabeth
Peacefully at the Highview Residence London, Ontario on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 Hildred Brown (née Wade) of London, Ontario formerly of Vankleek Hill, Ontario and Lachute, Quebec passed away at the age of 85. Predeceased by her parents Sidney Wade and Margaret Morin. Predeceased by her husbands Willis Hodge and Roland Brown. Loving mother of Lois Mahaffey, Robert Hodge (Dawn Spence), Sharon Veldstra (David), Gordon Brown (Bernard Poulin) and Chester Brown. Cherished grandmother of Ashley Mahaffey, Adam Mahaffey, Kyle Hodge, Reginald Hodge, Thomas Hodge Warrick, Nicole Hodge Warrick, Joelle Veldstra and Dawson Veldstra. Dearly loved sister of Christobel Lines (David), Margaret Hodge (late Garnet), Marlen Wade (Evelyn), Sidney Wade (late Ruth) and Norman Wade (Lorraine). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may visit at Hillcrest Funeral Home 151 Bond Street, Vankleek Hill, Ontario on Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 29, 2018 at 1 pm at Knox Presbyterian Church 29 High Street, Vankleek Hill. Interment Hillside Cemetery, Hawkesbury, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society PO Box 1852 Cornwall, Ontario would be appreciated.
