Hertha Lucy (Wiedemann) Morrison, age 83, passed away on Monday, October 29, 2018. Hertha was born January 24, 1935 in a log cabin on Caribou Island near Fort Fitzgerald, Alberta and she passed away at the University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta. Hertha’s death came suddenly and unexpectedly just 14 days after being diagnosed with leukemia. Hertha was very special and will be lovingly remembered by her children Sandra, Andrea (Ron), David (Linda), Kelly and Keith (Wendy), grandchildren Krys, Morgan, Dayne, Cameron (Anne), Victoria (Paul), Ben, Bradley, Nicole, Josh, James, Kim and siblings Greta, John (Sarah) Erica (Gary) and Paul (Maryanne) and by all those who met her and loved her throughout her life. She is predeceased by her son Douglas and her parents Maggie (Delorme) and Bruno Wiedemann. A celebration of Hertha’s life will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at noon at Roaring Rapids Hall in Fort Smith, NT. Everyone is welcome.
