Mom had a wry sense of humour, loved travelling and was a big fan of Jeopardy! If Mom were a contestant, the story would be her trip to the Bay Area of California in 2002. The drive through the Santa Cruz Mountains was reminiscent of childhood in her native Jamaica. And the highlight would be her bonding with Oakland Raider fans on a BART going to San Francisco. In no time, Mom wanted to join the Raider Nation and see the football game. Regrettably, her children convinced her to stick to the plan. Nevertheless, a wonderful day was had in the City …
Mom, we miss you.
The Francis family thanks the staff of the Jewish General Hospital and Vigi Mount Royal for their compassionate and professional care of our mother.
