Obituary of Helen Hirtle
Hirtle, Helen Karen, 68 of Clementsport passed away peacefully
on Monday Feb. 26, 2017 in the Dixon Center, Halifax surrounded by loved ones. Born in Sydney to the late John and Evelyn (Brewer) Zillman. Helen worked for 30 years as a lab tech. She loved her crafts, the outdoors and was very sociable, always willing to give a helping hand. On August 19, 1972 she married her loving husband of 45 years, Allister Hirtle. We who are left behind with heavy hearts and loving memories are: husband Allister, sisters Joan (John) MacPhee, Barbara (Bradley) Shaw, Sandra (Dave) Landry ; brothers: Brian ( Brenda) Zillman, David (Elizabeth) Zillman; brother-in-law Roger (Heather) Hirtle, many nieces and nephews. We would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at the Annapolis Community Health Centre and Dixon Centre at the VG Hospital for the care and compassion shown to Helen and her family. As per Helen’s wishes cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal There will be no service by request.
