Helene Lillian Ouellet
1943-2018
Helene L. Ouellet of Southampton, NB passed away peacefully on March
2, 2018 at the Upper River Valley Hospital. She was born in 1943 at
St. Paul, QC, a daughter of the late Philias and Alberta (Blais)
Therrien. Helene enjoyed the outdoors and fishing in Pokiok. She
loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and
great grandchildren. Helene had a passion for cooking and baking and
she loved feeding guests. She will be dearly missed by many.
She is survived by her husband, Gustave Ouellet; her children,
Chantale Ouellet (Chris Christie), Temperance Vale, NB, Caroline
Ouellet (Stephane Marsolais), Calgary, AB and Stephen Ouellet (Andrea
Hull), Southampton, NB; six grandchildren, Bobby Turcotte (Lucille),
Winnipeg, MB, Danny Turcotte (Skyleane Power), Calgary, AB, Melissa
Turcotte (Jeremy Aiken), Fredericton, NB, Ashley Mabie, Gabe Ouellet
and Cameron Ouellet; a step-granddaughter, Samantha Christie; eleven
great grandchildren, Koner, Isabelle, Chloee, Karsen, Layla, Jeremy,
Mariana, Paige, Alex, Jaden and Jack; two sisters-in-law, Jean
D’Arc Gagne and Agathe Blais; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Emilien
Therrien and several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law in
Gustave’s family.
Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis
Drive, Nackawic, NB on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral mass
will be held at St. Simon and St. Jude Catholic Church, 199 Otis
Drive, Nackawic, NB on Tuesday morning, March 6, 2018 at 11 am with
Father Arockia Dass Chinnappan officiating. A reception will follow
at the Nackawic Lions Club.

has suggested the Nackawic Lions Club, NB Heart and Stroke Foundation
or St. Simon and St. Jude Cemetery.
