Obituary of Helen Russell
RUSSELL, Helen – Passed away peacefully on December 2, 2018, at the age of 88 years. Helen will now be reunited with her loving and devoted husband of 54 years, Jackie. She is the cherished mother of Sarah-Sandra (late Chris) and Tom and his wife Brenda. She is the proud Grandma of Denver, Abigaile and Samantha. She is predeceased by her sisters Agnes (late Forbes) and Mary (late John) and survived by her sister Louisa (late John) and her brother John (Catherine), both in Scotland. She dearly loved her extended family – the Davison, Wilkie, Nisbet, Greenwood, Woods, Jones, Walmsley, Sharp, Sheppard, Christie, Marshall, Elliott, Booth, Kinsella, Lawrence, Letters and Biffis families. Helen’s great sense of compassion, generosity and warm hospitality will be missed by all who knew her. Friends may call at the J. S. Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown, Ontario on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 14400 Argyll Rd., Georgetown, Ontario on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made to ShareLife.
