Obituary for Helen MacIntyre (Dunits)
In loving memory of Helen MacIntyre (nee Dunits) who passed peacefully with her loving family by her side at Health Sciences North on Monday, December 10th, 2018 at the age of 91. Loving wife of Hector MacIntyre predeceased 1967. Beloved mother of Francis “Frank”, Brian and his partner Karen Kitgner, Catherine and her husband Edward Meyer, Randy, Heather and her friend Mike Larose. Predeceased by special friend/daughter Christine Ouellet (husband Gerry of Sudbury). Proud grandma of Sherry Lyn, Tamara (Kristan), Michael (Tammy), Jodi, Christina, Matt (Natalie), Chad, Jordan and Hunter. Great grandma of 12. Wishing a peaceful journey beyond to our mother, grandma and great grandma. She will always be remembered as a positive force in our lives. Helen was a proud member of the Catholic Women’s League, a great Euchre partner and a strong woman who could not be outdone with her perogies, cabbage rolls, chocolate covered peanut butter balls or the amount of hours she could put in at a casino. She will be missed tremendously.
A memorial mass will be held at St. Alexander’s Church, 100 Gaudette Street, Chelmsford on Friday, December 14th, 2018 at 10am. Friends may gather at the church after 9:30am. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. If desired, donations to the St. Alexander’s Church Steeple Fund would be appreciated.
