Obituary for Hector Béchamp
The family of Hector Béchamp (87) sadly announce his passing on January 16, 2018, at St. Joseph’s Villa, Sudbury. Beloved husband of the late Marie-Jeanne (2013), née Gervais. Loving father of Jane (late Everett), Steve (Joanne) and Rick (Stella). Grand-father of Sam, and great-grandfather of Addy and Noah.
Hector was the son of the late Alphonse Béchamp and Cécile Lamontagne. Dear brother of the late Paul (late Pierrette), twin brother of the late Victor (Denise), Donald (late Yolande), late Evance (Norreen), late Eleanor (late Bill), late Cecilia (Claude), late Marie, late Gertrude (Mario) and Grace (late Hugh).
Hector was a long-time employee of CN, as crane operator, then as supervisor. He and his late wife volunteered at the Capreol Police Station and the Capreol Cross-country Ski Club. For many years, Hector was also a member of the Capreol Cloggers, a group who entertained in the Sudbury District’s retirement and nursing homes. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Friday, January 19, 2018, from 2-4 P.M. and 7-9 P.M.
Funeral Service at
Our Lady of Peace Church, Capreol
Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 1 P.M., cremation to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you to the staff at St. Joseph’s Villa, Sudbury for their dedication to Hector’s care.
