It was on Saturday October 13, 2018 in Drayton Valley Hospital, while surrounded by family, that Hartley John Dwinnell passed away at the age of 71. Son of the late Gordon and Ethel (nee Pallister) Dwinnell.
He was predeceased by his loving wife Shirley Ann Dwinnell in 2001, together they shared 30 wonderful years. Hartely is survived by his loving daughter Julie Lynn Dwinnell, grandchildren, Arron Dwinnell, Alicia Dwinnell (Aron Horst), Jesse Dwinnell-Robinson. Great grandchildren, Lily Flahr, Liam Flahr and Logan Horst. Siblings, Freda, Lorne, Irene, Russell, Donna, Shirley, Floyd and Orlie. As well as numerous nieces and nephew, beloved in laws, friends and his fur babies.
Hartley and his family moved from Parry Sound, Ontario to Fox Creek, Alberta in 1980, where he worked in the oilfield for over 20 years. Hartley loved playing his guitar and music, his favourite musician was Merle Haggard. He enjoyed camping, hockey (Montreal Canadians), cooking and making memories with family and friends. Hartley had great love for animals.
Hartley will be greatly missed by all who knew him. His memory will be cherished always and forever.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
