Marcus, Haroldine Shirley
Age 91 of Dartmouth passed away Thursday, February 22, 2018 in Dartmouth General Hospital.
Born in Estevan, Saskatchewan, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Eva Livesley, of Winnipeg, Manitoba.
For most of her life she was a member of the Woodlawn United Church, Dartmouth, and was an active member of the Farqueson UCW Unit. Most of her retirement years were spent in Eustis, Florida with her husband of 68 years. She was a very caring person and a friend to many.
She is survived by her sons, William “Bill” Scott (Beverly), Lantz; James “Jim” Hunter (Carrie), Dartmouth; daughter in law, Elaine Marcus-Lightle; granddaughters, Jana Marcus (Gary), Lantz; Erica Marcus (Andrew), Enfield; grandson, Bradley (Bailey), Milford; great-grandchildren, Jillian, Marcus, Laney, Lily, Adelyn will miss her greatly.
She was predeceased by her husband, William “Bill” Marcus; son, Robin; brother, Roy Livesley; sisters-in-law, Mary Livesley and Betty Cappie; and granddaughter, Jill Marcus-Mathie.
Thanks to the nurses and staff of 3W Dartmouth General, for their attention and care.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service and interment in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens will be held at a later date.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Breast Cancer Society, or a charity of choice.
