WOLFMAN, Dr. Harold – On Thursday, December 6, 2018 passed away peacefully at Sunnybrook Veterans Centre. Beloved husband of Shirley for 68 years. Beloved Dad and father- in-law of Lawrence and Trina, Lisa and Stephen, Jeffrey, Suzanne and the late Eric. Beloved Grandpa of Steven, Jonathan, Benji, Shauna, and Joseph. Dear brother of the late Mary Spergel and Murray Wolfman. Throughout his life Harold loved sports he played basketball, baseball and curled. His passion was his weekly bridge group. Harold joined the RCAF immediately after graduating high school and spent 4 1/2 years overseas in World War II. Upon returning home he went into Dentistry at University of Toronto and practiced in Toronto for 45 years. He was a member of Adath Israel Synagogue for over 60 years and served on their Board of Governors for many years. Our deepest gratitude to the wonderful and caring staff of the second floor at Amica Thornhill, The CCAC, and the Dorothy Macham Centre staff of Sunnybrook Veterans Centre. At Benjamin’s Park Memorial Chapel, 2401 Steeles Avenue West (3 lights west of Dufferin) for service on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Interment Adath Israel Synagogue Section of Pardes Shalom Cemetery. Shiva 546 Steeles Avenue West #811, Amica Retirement. Memorial donations may be made to the Sunnybrook Veterans Centre c/o The Sunnybrook Foundation, 416-480-4483.
