SOBEL, Harold – After an incredible run, and no regrets, Harold has left us. Amateur race car driver, motorcycle enthusiast, dentist, medical simulation lab specialist, camper, board member, union steward, arbitrator, animal lover, craftsman, musician, husband, father, step father and friend, the list goes on. Harold’s interests knew no bounds. He leaves behind a plethora of friends and a blended family who will miss him; specifically his wife Davida (Woolf/Buchalter) and their children Joy Sobel, Kalman Sobel, Steven Buchalter and Ari Buchalter, former wife Susie and of course his canine companions, Meeka and Mylie.
A celebration of Harold’s life will be held on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., Temple Israel 605 Windermere Road, London. Shiva visits will be at 7:00 pm with services at 7:30 pm at the home of Daryl Fridenberg and Jason Mandlowitz, 10 Tetherwood Court, London; starting the evening of Sunday, July 15th and ending on the evening of Thursday, July 19th.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Temple Israel Building Fund, 519-858-4400.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Harold Sobel Friday July 06 2018.source
Death notice for the town of: Toronto, Province: Ontario
I am deeply sorry for your loss. I am taken aback as I did not know Harold died. I have some of his artwork and was trying to reconnect with Harold after a long absence. I am so sorry to hear he passed. I will carry his creative soul with, me on my own journey to the wilds. Thanks for being so ingenious, sorry we did not have a chance to collaborate, maybe up the road?
