Harold Kezama August 29th 2018

Harold Kezama, late of Regina, SK passed away on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at the age of 72 years. He was predeceased by his parents George and Mary (Bashutski); sister Doris Ebenal; brothers Eddie, Bill and Wally. Harold is survived by his sisters Rose, Olga and Adeline (Ken); brothers Tony (Rose), Don (Sue), Paul, Gerald, Brian and Ralph and numerous nephews and nieces.
Harold was born on January 31, 1946 in Lestock, SK to George and Mary Kezama. His early years were spent on the family farm at Kelliher, SK before moving to Regina as a teenager. Harold was a true free spirit and went where the wind blew him; he worked for the Department of Highways throughout Saskatchewan, IPSCO in Edmonton, and even found his way to Southern Ontario for a bit before settling back down in Regina. Back in Regina Harold was never afraid of hard work and held jobs in the construction, landscaping, and janitorial fields and did whatever he needed to get by. Harold didn’t need much and asked for even less.
Harold loved his sports and was active in ball and hockey as a youngster and grew up to be a passionate Rider and Blackhawks fan. Actually to say passionate in regards to the Riders is probably an understatement – there was probably more than 1 or 2 items thrown at his TV when the Riders were not doing well.
Harold suffered a stroke a few years back and spent the past 2 years at Sunset Extendicare facility in Regina. The family would like to thank the staff for the kind and compassionate care Harold received.
Celebration of Harold’s Life will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the Eagles Club, 1600 Halifax Street, Regina, SK.
In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make a donation to Souls Harbour Rescue Mission in Regina.
