Surrounded by his family at his home on May 6th, 2018. Beloved husband of Linda. Loving father of Michael (Karen) and Mark (Michelle). Cherished Gramps of Ally & Zach, and Grandpa Rivers to Nicholas & Rylee. Loving son of Theresa and the late Clarence. Special brother to his siblings Elaine (Philip), Gary (Pat) and Cathy (Gunter). Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Will be missed by his many fellow baseball and bowling teammates and fellow hunters. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Friday, May 11th, from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at ST. GREGORY THE GREAT CATHOLIC CHURCH (214 Simcoe Street North, Oshawa) on Saturday, May 12th at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow at St. Mary’s of the People Catholic Church, 570 Marion Avenue, Oshawa.
