Obituary for Gwedolyn Ward
WARD, Gwendolyn (nee Rolfe) Passed away peacefully at Saint Peter’s Hospital on January 11, 2018 in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Peter Ward. Loving mother of Brian (Lisa) and Michael (Annette). Also survived by grandchildren James, Jennifer, Melanie and Amelia, as well as five great-grandchildren. Gwen will be missed by her close friends Sid Saunders and Joyce Omand as well as her fellow residents at the Dorchester apartments. The family is grateful to Dr. Bev and the staff at St. Peter’s and the staff at St. Joseph’s Hospitals, for the care and compassion they gave Gwen in her final weeks. A celebration of life will take place at the Dorchester apartments at 69 Herkimer on January 28th between 2 to 4 p.m. for family and friends. If desired, the family would appreciate donations to be made to St. Peter’s Hospital and the SPCA
