Grant Frail Tupper
1929-2018
Grant Frail Tupper – 89, of Centreville, Kings
County, passed away on Friday, November 2, 2018 in the Valley Regional
Hospital, Kentville. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Harry
and Daisy (Frail) Tupper. He was an auto mechanic by trade. He had
been employed with F.W. Robinson Ltd. in Kentville as service manager
and in sales. He later owned and operated his own auto service
business in Centreville for over 25 years and was a member of the
Centreville Baptist Church. Grant enjoyed entertaining with his
“pine family” that he created and spending summers
at their cottage in Scott’s Bay, for over 50 years. He is
survived by his wife of 64 years, Wilma Belle (Huntley); a sister,
Verna Schofield, Kentville; two brothers, Keith and Scott (Marianne),
both of Scott’s Bay; nieces and nephews. In addition to his
parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Blake and two infant
sisters; a sister-in-law, Rose. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m.
on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 in the White Family Funeral Home,
Kentville, where the funeral service, followed by a reception will be
held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 7, 2018, Reverend Doctor
Stephen Hopper officiating. Burial will take place in the
Scott’s Bay Cemetery. The family wishes to express their
sincere appreciation to the doctors, nurses and staff of Medical B at
the Valley Regional Hospital for their care, kindness and compassion.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to the Valley
Regional Hospital, the Scott’s Bay Cemetery or to a charity
of your choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White
