Graham Clyde Hardy
1948-2018
Hardy, Graham Clyde,
age 69, of Ashdale, passed away peacefully on January
1, 2018 at St. Martha’s Regional Hospital,
Antigonish.
Born in Dartmouth, he was a son of
Audrey (Whidden) Hardy and the late James Hardy.
Graham was a wonderful husband and a
loving father and grandfather. There wasn’t anything he
wouldn’t do for his family. He was a hard working, kind man
with a great dry sense of humor. He had many interests. He loved
fishing, hunting and everything in nature, He was a NASCAR fan and
looked forward to the races at James River. He loved going to the camp
with his best friends Mike, Jimmy and Archie. Graham was a carpenter
by trade and worked as a pulp cutter with Scott and Stewart for many
years.
He is survived by his devoted wife
Iona (Anderson), formerly of Guysborough Intervale; loving daughters,
Crystal of Antigonish; Wendy, Halifax; grandson Caden, Dartmouth;
sisters: Beverly (Bill) Pelly, Dartmouth; Carolyn Hardy, Antigonish;
Sharon (William) DeCoste, Antigonish and Shirley (Duane) Walker,
Windsor.
There will be no visitation by
request. Cremation has taken place. Private burial at a later date.
