Gracita N. Cosino
Peacefully with family by her side, Gracita Cosino passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital on Monday, April 9, 2018 at the age of 59 years.
Gracita will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of 30 years Pepito, children Leslie and Christine, sisters Elenita Amante, Mely Tolentino, brother Jimmy Maligaya and their families. As well as many close friends and family.
Gracita came to Canada in 1980 and in 1988 she married the love of her life Pepito. Together they raised their beautiful family. She began her career as a Healthcare Aid in 2003 completing her diploma at Herzing College in 2004. Her career began in Deer Lodge and moved to Oakview Place where she worked for the past 13 years. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was passionate about cooking and playing a card game called Tong-Its. Her care and compassion for others will be truly missed.
Lamay will be held Friday, April 13, 2018 from 7:00 p.m. to midnight with prayers at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at St. Mary’s Cathedral with interment and reception to follow at Glen Lawn Funeral Home.
The family would like to thank the Doctors and Nursing staff at Health Sciences Centre and St. Boniface Hospital for their care and compassion shown to Gracita.
