Obituary of Grace Currie
Peacefully at Craigwiel Gardens Nursing Home, Ailsa Craig on Friday, February 9, 2018 Grace Marion Currie (nee McNaughton) passed away at the age of 93. Loving wife of the late Douglas Llewellyn “Boots” Currie (1998). Dear mother of Colin (Donna) Currie, Ralph (Wendy) Currie and Ruth Anne (Ken) Vander Wal. Survived by her grandchildren Matthew Currie, Zena Currie (Brent Campbell), Kirsty Currie, Kenzie (Starr) Currie, Jordan Currie (Rebecca Merner), Kendra (Shawn) Hendrikx and Brenton Vander Wal and great grandchildren Paisley Currie and Callahan Currie. Forever remembered by many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Sadly missed by longtime friends and neighbours Leslie, Agnes, Amy and Becky Smith. Predeceased by her parents Ida and Alexander McNaughton, her siblings Duncan (Thelma) McNaughton, Gordon (Evelyn) McNaughton and Jean (Elliott) McKichan. Cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will be held at DENNING’S OF AILSA CRAIG 519-293-3331 on Wednesday, February 14th from 4-7 pm. A private family graveside service will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to Craigwiel Gardens Nursing Home or the Ailsa Craig Food Bank. Online condolences accepted at www.denning.ca .
