In loving memory of our remarkable mother,
Grace Rosicki, born in Standrigg, Muiravonside Scotland, February
26th, 1923.
Grace was a celebrated WWII Veteran and War
Bride, first serving with the British WAA “F”’s
then seconded to the RCAF 419 Bomber Command. 407 Costal
Command and 428 Squadron and later received the Canadian Letter of
Recognition as a tribute to her selfless acts of service and sacrifice
during the Second World War, in defence of
Canada.
She later became a leader in women’s
fashion, specializing in Bridal Gown Design, and had her own Bridal
and Fashion Salon in Regina
Saskatchewan.
Grace passed away at the age of 95 at the
Fredericton Veterans Health Unit, on December
19th, 2018, in the loving arms of her children,
Roslind Sherman and Robert Rosicki.
Know as “WEE GRACIE”, “five foot
two with eyes of blue”. She was embraced with strength
and love amongst our family as well as all who knew her. We
will dearly miss her inspiring presence and never-ending
support.
Grace was predeceased by her husband Edward and
now leaves her son, Robert Rosicki and his wife Kathy presently
residing in Trail BC, her daughter, Roslind and her husband McKim
Sherman presently residing in Boiestown, NB, and their children to
salute the passing of this beautiful twentieth century
women.
Grace also leaves her beloved grandchildren;
Manda Sherman with great grandchildren, Bohdi and Auria
presently residing in Montreal PQ, Graham Sherman with great
grandchildren, Hanson, Hugh and Luke presently residing in Calgary AB
and Garrett Sherman with great grandchildren Raferty and Winchester
presently residing near Sydney Australia to herald her spiritual
journey.
“Grandma Grace” will be dearly
missed. WE LOVE YOU MOM!!!!!
