Grace Stephenson (Bender)
Grace Olive Stephenson of Sarnia passed away peacefully at North Lambton Lodge in Forest in her 85th year.
Beloved wife for over 60 years of William Stephenson. Together Bill and Grace raised their family of Brenda, Don, and Barry.
Grace’s family legacy continues with her Grandchildren, Amy & Gerry, Dave & Heather, Dan & Brittany, Jeremy & Diane, Kyle, Janelle & Coda, Justin, Dale, Laura & Tyler, and Great Grandchildren Taylor, Brett, Jacinda, Damon, Kiera, Hailey, Zac, Kinsley, Cohen and Jonah. Loved sister of Ethel & Jack, Carl & Donna, and Vi. Predeceased by her parents William & Catherine Bender and siblings, Dorothy & Elwood, Myrel & Lloyd and Ray.
Grace was thrilled the day she won the lottery, but her brightest smile came the day of the suprise 35th Wedding Anniversary where family and friends joined to celebrate the love and friendships both Grace and Bill have shared.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, July 27th at the Point Edward Ex-Servicemen’s Association, 503 Michigan Ave, Point Edward, ON from 11am – 2pm. A private interment at the Bairds Cemetery. Special thanks to Dr. William Buckton and the caring staff at North Lambton Lodge. Donations may be made in Grace’s name to the Alzheimer’s Society or charity of choice.
