Gordon Love
1946-2018
Gordon Love, of Riverview, passed away suddenly, surrounded
by his family on December 21, 2018 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in
St. Stephen, NB, he was the son of the late Harry and Harriet
(Johnson) Love.
Gordon has made many friends over the years, either from his
teaching career of over 40 years, coaching soccer at the JMA or
golfing at lakeside.
He will be missed by his loving wife of 51 years Cheryl
(Spencer) Love, sons; Jason (Tracy), Chris (Kristin), Adam (Allison),
grandchildren; Spencer, Tyler, Meadow, sister Mary Jane Love and her
son Greg and his many nieces and nephews. Aside from his parents,
Gordon was predeceased by his brother Harry David Love.
In keeping with his wishes, there is no visitation or funeral
service. A graveside service will be held at a later date in St.
Stephen. Arrangements are entrusted to Cobb’s Funeral Home
and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview (869-2007).
Donations in Gordon’s memory may be made to Greater Moncton
SPCA, St. Paul’s United Church Building Fund or a charity of
the donor’s choice.
