Obituary of Gloria Campbell
Campbell, Gloria Jane of Aylmer passed away at Terrace Lodge on Friday, November 23, 2018 in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Earl Campbell(2012). Dear mother of Earlene Brooks(Dick) of London and Brian Campbell(Sue) of Dorchester. Mother-in-law of Betsy Campbell of Chatham. Loving grandmother of Peter Brooks, Nancy Brooks(Ray Grant), Scott Campbell(Lisa) and Mike Campbell(Mary) and great-grandmother to Liam, Isla and Nora. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son Bruce Campbell(2018) and brother Buddy Statham(1939). Born in Strathroy, Ontario on June 12, 1925, daughter of the late Russell and Gladys(Marshman) Statham. She enjoyed telling a good joke and loved music. Gloria was a member the Rebekah Lodge for 46 years and of the Aylmer Baptist Church. Gloria along with Earl were members of the Hillbilly Band at the church and performed with over 30 other performers raising a considerable amount of money for the face lift of the Church. Gloria worked for the Town of Aylmer for 29 years. A funeral service will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior.
