Glenn William Meinzer 2018

Obituary Overview
In Loving Memory
Glenn passed away suddenly at the age of 48 at The Oakville Trafalgar Hospital on December 24, 2018. Glenn was an avid outdoorsman who loved canoeing, camping, gardening and many more outdoor activities. In spite of suffering from Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis for the past 13 years, Glenn maintained a keen optimism and engagement in life, sustained by his many wonderful friendships and the deep love and care of his family. He was the son of Heinz Meinzer and Diane Meinzer and the brother of Karin Meinzer. Dianne Pringle and Jim Romanko were special friends to Glenn. We will all miss him so much. Memorial visitation will take place on Saturday January 5th, 2019 at Glen Oaks Funeral Home (3164 Ninth Line, Oakville) from 12 noon – 1 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at 1p.m. in the Glen Oaks Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Michael’s Foundation (Barlo MS Centre) or a charity of your choice in memory of Glenn. Online condolences can be made at www.glenoaks.ca

Sympathies message

  1. I worked with Glenn for a number of years and there are no words that can articulate eloquently enough how wonderful of a person he was. Always smiling, always positive and finding the good in everything. To say he will be missed is an understatement. I am privileged that I was fortunate enough to know him.
