Glenn Curtis passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2018. He will be remembered with love by his wife Margaret (Harrington); son Glenn and daughter-in-law Libby Fulton and their daughter Brie; and daughter Caroline and her daughters Kelsey and Lauren. He is predeceased by his daughter Suzanne in 1983. Glenn was born in Toronto in 1926, went to TCS, U of T in civil engineering and Harvard in Business Administration. Glenn and Margie were married and lived in Toronto for many years. He and his family loved their summers at Logan Lake and skiing at Osler Bluff. In 1980 they moved to Calgary where they enjoyed skiing and hiking in the mountains. Glenn spent his business years in the engineering and construction world. He worked in Montreal at a construction firm. Next, he worked in Toronto for Stone & Webster, an international construction firm. For the last 7 years he was President. He moved to INCO during their major expansion. Glenn then started a project management firm. It worked across Canada for 15 years. For the latter years, he was at Noranda Mines during a major building program. Glenn worked with many capable and good people. Glenn was active in the militia (Black Watch), Church, and he was a trustee of The Toronto General Hospital. In his later years, he took training in chaplaincy in Calgary and enjoyed pastoral care in various hospitals. He loved music and sang in the Festival Chorus and later St. Martin’s Anglican Church Choir. Funeral Service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church (3704 – 37 Street SW) on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at 1:00 pm. There will be a reception afterwards in the church.
