It is with great sadness that the family of Gladys Mary Beatrice Blais announces her passing on February 10, 2018 at the age of 77.
Gladys was born in Boggy Creek, Manitoba on August 17, 1940. She spent her childhood in Boggy Creek, Benito and Swan River. She lived in Winnipeg, Victoria, BC, Germany, Calgary and Edmonton. In Calgary and Edmonton, she worked as a waitress and bartender.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Gilles Blais; son, David Meyers; siblings, Florian Morrisseau (Myrtle), Elaine Toderenchuk, Hilda Sucre, Lynda Harasym (Rudy), Mark Prieston (Judi), and Wade Prieston; stepson Stephane; Arnold & Millie Meyers; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends; and her cat, Jonah.
Gladys was predeceased by her father, Jean Baptiste Morrisseau; mother, Marie Alice Prieston; son, Blane Meyers; and brother-in-law, Paul Toderenchuk.
