GIBSON Bruce of Exeter and formerly of London 2018

Released from his struggles with dementia, Bruce slipped away peacefully in his 93rd year. Son of Heber and Esther Gibson, caring husband for over 70 years of Audrey (Aikenhead). Proud father to Barbara, Sandra (Bob), Jo Ann, and Jim (Debbie). Grandfather of seven, Great-Grandfather of six. Predeceased by his sisters Fran, Jean and Betty and brother Chuck.
Bruce was an employee of London Life for over 30 years, where he made many friends through golf, bowling and tennis. He was a life-long active member of Dundas St. Centre United Church, where among many activities, he sang in the choir for over fifty years. He was also a member of the Fanshawe Symphonic Chorus for more than 25 years.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Many thanks to all the staff at the Exeter Villa for their care and compassion to both Audrey and Bruce.
In honour of Bruce, donations to Dundas St Centre United Church organ fund or the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family. Haskett Funeral Home, Exeter entrusted with arrangements.
