OBITUARY
Gerald “Gerry” William Gilders
November 24, 1939 – July 17, 2018
Gilders, Gerald William “Gerry” – At the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Tuesday July 17th, 2018 in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Maria (Mia) Gilders.
Brother of Doreen Foote (the late Dr. John Foote).
Uncle to Martha and Melinda Foote.
Loving step-father of: Juli Hillier-Lake (Reg Lake), Karen Milowicki (Frank Milowicki), and Shayne Rudolph.
Loving grandfather of Meagan Milowicki.
Gerry will be lovingly remembered by the Gatfield, Foote and Gilders families.
He will also be missed by his many friends and colleagues from King George, Coronation and Armour Heights elementary schools.
Gerry was passionate about singing with the Barber-shoppers, the Pop Ensemble and many other musical groups and choirs. Gerry also touched many lives through golf, curling, skiing, running and many other sporting activities in the community.
Friends will be received at the COMSTOCK-KAYE LIFE CELEBRATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street for visitation on Sunday July 22, 2018 from 1-3 pm & 7-9 pm. Funeral service to take place in the chapel on Monday July 23, 2018 at 11:00 am. Interment Little Lake Cemetery. In memory of Gerry, Memorial donations to the Peterborough District Barbershop Harmony Society would be appreciated. Online condolences may be made at www.comstockkaye.com
