It is with great sadness that the family of the late
GEORGINA
B. PIERCEYof Grand Bank announces her passing at the Blue Crest
Home in Grand Bank on Friday, January 12, 2018, at the age of
88. Leaving to mourn with fond and
loving memories are son, Jim (Gertie) Piercey of Grand Bank;
daughters, Carolyn (Raj) Veerassamy of Mauritius, and Glenda Piercey
(Pat Cleary) of St. John’s;
sister, Eileen (Allister) McPherson of Halifax; and
brother, Arthur (Vi) Parsons of Dartmouth; 6 grandchildren, Ranee,
Krishnan, Philip, Susan, Alex, and Hilary; 2 great-grandchildren,
Jadra & Gita; plus a large circle of extended family and
friends. She was predeceased by her
husband, Montford Piercey; parents, James & Effie Parsons;
brothers, Wilson & Clayton; and sisters, Jane & Ann.
The Piercey Family will be accepting visitors at
Wiseman’s Funeral Homes in Grand Bank on Sunday, January
14th, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.,
and Monday, January 15th, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will take
place from St. Alban’s Anglican Church in Grand Bank on
Tuesday, January 16th, 2018, at 2:00
p.m. Interment will follow at St.
Alban’s Anglican Cemetery in Grand
Bank.
In Georgina’s
memory donations may be made to the Blue Crest Home, Grand Bank or
flowers gratefully accepted.
